Anonymous participant I would have sent more than what they asked for. All the pages of passport (historically that’s what they want based on previous posters), statements/overviews that clearly indicate payments from clients and referencing invoices, and a letter of explanation.

They want things done so that it’s “easy to understand” for them especially since people from all over the world are applying there where practices differ greatly.

You only complete the Muay Thai or cooking class after you are approved for the DTV and you can only apply after your current visa expires…so you have plenty of time.

It’s very easy and straight forward, you can do this yourself.

I think around that time someone else in this group had mentioned something along those lines so we just booked a trip out to avoid any gray areas.

 he didn’t ask any further, but based on assumption, I believe that if the primary visa holder visa is not valid or is expired, then any dependents under them would be as well.

immigration at Bkk as my husband left alone and we didn’t want to plan a family trip as we have an active toddler.

I’m the primary DTV holder and my husband is my dependent, he traveled outside no problem. However, to renew it would be based on your 180 days and she has to be traveling with you for it to reset.
