I was replying in good faith, and had no idea of character limits as I rarely have used a colored background. You could have saved yourself two characters by using "command of" as opposed to "command over".
Of course hiring managers will have unsaid preferences, and being a white person does not make one immune to those. If there was an opening for a russian teaching position, there will be people getting calls back named Yuri, Svetlana, and Oleg, my white sounding name and white skin is not going to help me. Just as people looking for a Hindi teacher will not likely call back someone with my name. It is quite typical in a job search, to have "who you know" to matter as much or more than "what you know"
Good luck in your search, one suggestion would be to use your initials or a nickname that is more Euro sounding to get past the first filtering of resumés.... you might not like how things are, but hopefully it helps you get to your goal.
2- Teaching jobs do not have preferences, people doing the hiring can, and may prefer a native speaker as rhe chances of better command of English is more probable.
3- It could be assumed you have a thick to moderate Indian accent when you speak.
