no I do completely agree with you. I’m on the soft power dtv with Muay Thai and whilst there’s no requirement to enforce anything it still worries me. Takes one immigration officer in a years time to ask for proof of training, then it’s game over even if im training but in a different gym

I guess the main benefit of not doing the Muay Thai soft power option is you don’t have to pay for 6 months training upfront

Just use an agent to open a bank makes life so much easier both for transfers and being able to use QR scan to pay

Anonymous participant bro don’t send all ur details to someone the application is made so a 3 yr old can complete it 🤣 the hard part is getting everything together which you’ve already done

There’s definitely a way to get this going. Just have to tread carefully around what’s considered work and what’s not. Attending events is absolutely fine, maybe if the ‘host’ is technically a Thai person / entity this would be ok

This is a scam. That’s not the correct email address. If you have the document confirming your acceptance then it’s still valid

he said open business, not work in one, to be fair. Which is possible on dtv 🙏

It will be valid you’ll need immigration to update your visa with new passport info though. For this reason I just renewed mine early as soon as it arrived I then applied for the dtv with new passport. Saves the future hassle 👍
