Let me ask one thing about DTV visa. My current passport is going to expire in two years’ time. If I got DTV visa for five years. My DTV visa is still eligible under my new passport ? So that I can decide whether I should apply DTV by now. Thank you.

It will be valid you’ll need immigration to update your visa with new passport info though. For this reason I just renewed mine early as soon as it arrived I then applied for the dtv with new passport. Saves the future hassle 👍

When you get your new passport you simply take your old passport, and your new passport to immigration and they transfer everything over to your new one

Yes it will still be valid. I'd suggest renewing your passport BEFORE moving overseas though just to save any hassles
