They obviously ask the question for a reason or it wouldn’t be in the form. So it’s reasonable to assume what you put there matters.

Do I think anyone will actually check? No. But in the unlikely event they do when your story adds up and is backed up with real bookings it looks pretty good.

It seems based on everyone’s response the length of time is not important. Although, I did read some people having issues putting to short of time for soft power. That would make sense if you are taking a 6 month course and only staying 2 weeks.

well the last time I entered the country I was sent to secondary. They called my hotel and airline to confirm that I was staying where I said and that I had a real exit flight booked.

I’m pretty sure if I didn’t have a real flight would have been denied.

Better to have your “intentions” actually backed up with real flights and hotels if they ask.
