You can get on arrival at the airport but better (In my opinion) to get in advance online with the visa system.

the Baht has been weak over the last two months. Hard to predict but those last two months were great times to exchange foreign currency into baht.

I think we must agree to disagree.

I do want to point out in the first sentence of your reply "but there are rules" yet you don't believe that the Thai government should clearly define those rules. It seems like a contradiction.

I do agree that I think many times Thailand makes the rules fuzzy so corruption can flourish.

how does it make sense that this is the eighth month of this tax year and Thailand has not clarified the details ? I guess your advice to stay only 179 days makes sense but not easy for those of us with families and condos in Thailand

we disagree as does Thai Immigration since they allow more than 2 visa exempt plus extensions which would be 180 days at least per year. I am interested but I am not upset with how others use their time in Thailand. Live and let live
