I went to 8 different banks in Chiang Mai, they all said no so I went to Pattaya to get one through an agent.

I opened a bank account with DTV last week in Pattaya through an agent. There are a few there you can google search and contact to ask

I asked a couple banks yesterday and they said it wouldn’t be possible - has to be a longer term visa.

My hope is it’ll be possible in a few months
