incorrect a Non OA you get in your own counrty and is a 12 month visa with no requirement to transfer money in Thai bank unless you want to extend it after 12 months a Non O is 90 days and you can get in your home country or in Thailand and requires money in Thai bank before extending just like Garrett said

I came thru Don Muang last week and got a re-entry stamp.It is just behind passport control and it took less than 5 min.

I had a application for re-entry filled out with passport photo attached so no delay and it cost 1000 baht exactly no processing fee.

Yes mate that is pretty standard procedure and as
@Kool ******
has said same again next year.

It is the same for most Non O Visa's they will normally visit and ask questions and meet neighbours etc it is usually no hassles.

I had a visit for my Non O based on Retirement.

a Non O is a 90 day visa you can extend from this based on marriage /retirement at most immigration offices or leave and come back till it expires getting 3 months on arrival ( no insurance required).

A Non O-A is a 12 month Visa and you will get stamped in for 12 months or the length of your Insurance every time before it expires.

Used wisely you can get 2 years from the 1 Visa.

You can also extend O-A based on marriage/retirement in Thailand but will need Insurance.
