It’s much harder to extend in country Much easier to fly out and back in

Put simply you won’t be able to open a bank account and if you did you would not pay Thai tax on any transferred funds as you’ve already paid Australia tax

Fair or not that’s the way it is and it’s happened to lots of who didn’t check properly
