Sé Rel precisely and one of the main factors that no one acknowledges directly.

There Maybe disparity in pay between folks from NES countries & say folks from PHILI, VIET, INDIA, THAI, but it may seldom be relating directly to the English language competencies.

Accents, Nurturing in NES, etc etc may merely be excuses for the unfairness that largely prevails. Folks would diss this as well depending on which side of the bias they may be.

Great to know of your Entrepreneurial journey. Smhw JOBS aren't wholly dignified as compared to being self employed or driving a Business atleast for folks from socalled TIER2 TIER3 countries.

not intending to be patronising;

verbose writing is apt largely at times when spoon feeding is demanded or asked for in certain contexts like on social, as many may not comprehend fully well what could be said in a sentence or few words.

TOEFL is something I may need to take to merely back my competency, but I don't intend to be teaching English for life.

Need something to fund my travels, stay around Thailand and see how it pans out.

obviously correct vocabulary is acquired skill & "Anyone" can have it irrespective of whether NATIVE or NOT

but I bet Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Aussie, southern Mooricano etc is "ENGLISH"

barring the accent, idioms & nitty gritties of growing up in NES lands, if every other competency is similar irrespective of the land one hails from, their English can be ENGLISH -- there the Fact said itself ?!

there's too much generalization / judgements & often without the basic check / test of English language competency.

Would those same folks who judge geberally judge all Indian accents as NODDINGO, believe that all MOORICANS have ComboySouthern accent?? It's impossible. So it is selective bias deliberated.

Guess I rather start an agency that hires folks purely on English competencies & Also offer at competitive prices to highlight how the Thai's may generally be going for overpriced & below average English speakers
