Johnson Mike for the B800k it is normally 3 months prior (some offices say 4) and you need to keep it there for 3 or 4 months afterwards, and (assuming you will want to extend again next year) it cannot fall below B400k, and again you will need to up it again to B800k 3-4 months prior to your NEXT extension request.

The year-long requirement is not for the B800k route, but rather for the B65k monthly route, where they want to see 12m worth of monthly deposits to prove your enduring external income.
