I'd be paying a month in advance and there can be, as I read in a post elsewhere. I have my reasons for not wanting to go in that direction, so let's just stick with my question, please.
I'm signing my lease tonight, so that would be "no" on the "if there is time" :-). I will do, as another suggested, and transfer a small sum to the landlord earlier to be sure the transaction goes through prior to the due date. Thank you for your response.
I never said they were.🤦 I have never met the landlord. I will meet her tonight and I've already said that I plan to talk to her about the situation. I just want to have as much information as possible available to me so I can present options. I don't want her to think I'm trying to avoid timely payment. Why is simply answering a question without passing judgement or making assumptions so difficult for people?
