The "non-re" stamp indicates that the individual has entered Thailand on a Non-Immigrant visa type and has a re-entry permit. Some users expressed confusion over its meaning, suggesting it isn't an exempt stamp that allows for an extended stay.

I think you mixed up a few things.

There is no 6 months Non O. It is 90 days.

The 2 months you mention is probably the validity of the visa. Meaning you must enter untill that day and then get stamped for 90 days. If you have a Non O visa and you stamped in for 60 days then probably the IO made a mistake. It happens. Return to the immigratiin to correct it

Presuming you can get a 60 days visa exemp entry, you not need any visa the 60 days can be extended by another 30 days at a local immigration office. But because you plan to travel outside Thailand you might just leave and come back later again getting a 60 days visa exempt entry stamp. No visa needed

Soon you will know the difference. Thai immigrstion will tell you that. If its real that you are in Thailand on bzck to back visa exempts since november last year then you got lucky. There will be a moment Thai immigration will stop you and deny you entry to Thailand. Due to suspicion not being a tourist. Telling you to get a visa for your purpose.

The 1 year Non O multiple still exists but you can get it at a very limited number of Thai embassies. Since the introduction of the eVisa it disapeared and it was no option. But somewhere else you can still get it. As some above confirm.
