Money must be seasonal ( 6 months) if someone tells you otherwise ask for when they process their application still would only apply with substantial movement on bank statements for 6 months. If you dont have the money GET A SPONSOR it this simple. They could care less who has the money as long as the sponsor is outside of thailand. This can of course happen if they take you into secondary inspection but if you arrive at BKK i doubt this will happen to you. I arrived las week the first time did not even print my visa and i was out 1 min later. There were just too many people there. Heard of a person going to a smaller airport in chiang mai that had to deal with this. Hope this helps 🙏

It all depends on the person that checks your application. I. Doubt they will reject you for missing documents but i can happen. Rejections are mostly for mistakes such as errors with passport data etc. Next time check 10 times before submitting the application. I did that and things work out for me. I will attach a copy of a recent application at Hanoi. Send as much information as possible if they request something. If it comes to a rejection please READ AS MANY POSTS AS YOU CAN and include everything. Dont trust the passport reader and recheck everything before you submit

I think what most people are missing is the fact this a long term tourist visa and they want to make sure you can support yourself. If you just deposit the money 15 days before to complete the 500k requirement they might feel your are not financial stable and thus reject your visa. IF PEOPLE DONT HAVE THE MONEY GET A SPONSOR WHOSE INCOME COMES FROM OUTSIDE OF THAILAND IS THAT SIMPLE. They could care less who has the money as long as its coming outside of thailand and its SEASONAL FOR 6 MONTHS. Another area that people miss is the verbatim statement where they say THEY WONT SEEK LOCAL EMPLOYMENT . This is a condition stated on the visa and a lot of people just leave that off when they put their applications together. THAT MUST BE THERE ☝️

i doubt they will change the format for the rejections some embassies just deny you and you never know why. I travel frequently and can tell you i have been denied in countries and never find out why… its a visa thing i think. I dont see this visa surviving in its current form. Its just too nice for you to stay in thailand for 5 years and just pay 340 usd. Before this we look into other options and most of them were like 50-75 times the 375 price and a lot more uncertainty. I see the price increasing in the near future and more restrictions to come into play. Lets hope im wrong 🙏

i think it depends on how you set up your application. I SPENT A LONG TIME LOOKING FOR EVERY POSSIBLE DOCUMENT they would ask for. I was approved in 3 business days and my picture was blurry . I think if i had a better picture and not holidays i would have been approved the same week. Hanoi is the best place to get this visa AS LONG AS YOU HAVE WHAT THEY ARE REQUESTING NOW 🙏
