Yes, I made a mistake. No excuses, since I should have read the group posts more carefully.
I submitted a workation application in Hanoi earlier today but now, reading the group, I realised that as "Document indicating current location" I submitted only my hotel reservation document, but not the page of my passport with entry stamp and flight to Hanoi. Did someone receive a request for these additional documents? or is it going to be straight rejection? 🥲
I read for about half hour, but can't find this question.
Thank you.
1st update: indeed like most people told me, I got asked to send the photo of my passport plus another document on the day after I applied and now it’s in “pending approval” since a few days.
2nd update: approved!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user mistakenly submitted incomplete documentation for their workation visa application in Hanoi, only providing a hotel reservation instead of necessary passport details. They were initially concerned about potential rejection but found through community comments that it would likely result in a request for additional documents, leading to a delay rather than outright rejection. After an update, the user confirmed they received a request for the necessary documents, which they submitted, and eventually, their application was approved.
