At the moment Jakarta seems to have the lead, then Vietnam, London. Personally I feel Manilla is an excellent choice and would have gone there if not approved in Taipei. Very friendly and the most helpful embassy I dealt with pre application. Taipei very fast approval but the most demanding in paperwork.

Agents can do it, extremely difficult to DIY now.

Anonymous participant If you go via platforms like Upwork, no problem, others got DTVs via there as you can show paperwork/contract from the platform. If you are self employed and getting work direct you can be asked to show registration. The embassy needs to know you are employed legally which is why they ask for company registration if self employed. You are from the UK?

I think the tutor route is likely to lead to less requests for more documentation on your design work. You do like 3D designs?

It is more simple with just one freelance job. You can find posts from online tutors who have been approved, some who just started and with a limited income.

Well depending on the length of time between trips. it seems if there is a visa to cover your activity you should get it to avoid the questioning/warning.
