 There was a recent rejection of a Thai bank account you may have read. The issue was sending his salary to that Thai account giving the impression he had business/employment ties to Thailand. A Thai bank account is fine to show for the 500k.Important to ensure its' activity is inline with DTV guidelines.

 There are a lot of posts of successful applicants with Thai bank accounts. You can use any personal bank account for the 500k.

Anonymous participant No it does not. Laos needs 3 mths of 500k. Vietnam is ok with a final balance of 500K and 6 mths of statements.

 Yeah, some do but Taipei is fine with the 500k on day of submission. No 3 months of seasoning needed, they told me.
