You should stay in Manilla untill approved as you can be asked for an interview or show further proof you still in Manilla. It can take 2-4 weeks to get approved there

Omedetou/Congrats on becoming a DTVER....Good choice to apply in Fukuoka, it's much more easygoing than Tokyo. Osaka is also a better option than Tokyo. Useful info you gave for those applying in Japan.

Vietnam is the quickest and easiest out of those 4. Malaysia is infamous for being the strictest for giving approval. Laos is not difficult but can take 2-4 weeks, brief interview is needed. You should check the main DTV FB group for lots of tips

No major flags in what he posted, what is your concern? he can be asked questions of cause and as someone noted bringing DTV docs and the 500k balance can help with that which is what i do even though never asked.
