TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation centers around whether attendance at the Pattaya Cooking School is necessary to obtain documents required for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) application. Several users discuss their inquiries about the school, the relevance of attendance for visa processing, and the response times from the school regarding this information.

Been curious about these "classes" i see posted... do they take attendance or does one just get the contract for the DTV and it not matter if they go or not?
That isba better option. That school you showed information for looks like a situation where you are actually trying to become a thai chef. A lot of hours = more expensive.
I just looked at their website and they don't mention anything about DTV visa. Any school that has had people successfully use it for DTV would definitely advertise it. I wouldn't chance it, but you could reach out to them and ask of their course is eligible for DTV Soft Power. You could just find a school in Bangkok. Take the bus up, book a cheap room for the night before (take a morning class then get on the bus back that afternoon) or after your class (take an afternoon class sleep in BKK then get a bus in the AM). If you took an afternoon class, you probably could do a day trip and bypass the hotel room. But it probably would do you some good to get out of Pattaya for a day or two. 😉
