I’m. US citizen and applied this week. For proof of current location I downloaded my drivers license and it was accepted.
I want to note that my husband applied at the same time as I did. His payment would not be accepted. He tried multiple times using different computers, different credit cards, etc. After 2days of rejection we contacted the Thai Embassy and the Visa Officer told us to wait 15 minutes and use a bank debit card. It finally went through, but what we found is that the Thai Bank - Kasikorn- rejected the card payment and contacted the bank in the US. The bank in turn contacted my husband and asked if he wanted to authorize this payment. As soon as he said yes, and resubmitted the payment, the application went through. The Thai Embassy said this has been happening alot since the Visa Application was revised.

. Since we need to show additional travel as well, as you mentioned, can we use tickets from a source such as Onward Travel or OneWayFly.com to show the balance of travel for our Visa application? In addition, since a Visa application can take up to 2 weeks (or more) to process, will the 'Onward ticket still be viable? It sounds like I will have to purchase additional 'Onward Travel' tickets to show to the airline when we leave in November.
