Thanks, Im going to rethink how I do things moving forward. Its so much easier, faster and cheaper to do it my current way but if I need that extension I might have to sacrifice.
Although I dont mind the border bounces as it gives me some time away from the house. This is definitely something to consider.
The Gift part happened one time out of 20+ times in my 9 years here. I went by myself a couple years ago instead of with a friend or family member or with a van service. Ever since that time I get worried it would happen again so I make sure someone is always with me.
Last time I did a 90day reporting was last year, I usually do border runs every 90 days except with after my visa expires and extend 60 days to squeeze some extra time out on that multi non-o visa for the past 9 years. So yeah I have done it in person before.
I did try the auto-translate thing but I get the same message and tried it on Chrome (main) safari and firefox, still get the same message. I dont want to travel to the office but it seems like I might have to.
"For further information regarding The 90-day Notification Report Service, please contact the Immigration Branch Office in your residence area." My original stamp is for April 14. I tried it 2 weeks ago and got the same message.
I printed it at home. Its online, google "Thailand TM30 pdf". They have the forms there but I prefer to have everything ready so I can queue up as fast as possible.
Really its basically the normal process for Non-O multi visa. But TM30 and TM47 can be done away from tourists which will save you a HUGE wait time. The tourist line is long and slow moving. Waiting for copies is long as well.
