I couldn’t find it either. This is just what the consulate in Vancouver Canada told me the other day.

Unless you are in one of the approved groups, Canada is on the list as a medium risk country, so we are not yet allowed to go on the STV (the only current way a 'tourist' can go). So it looks like it may not be possible for a while yet.

This is strange as any transfer will have the senders details attached to it! I work for a financial institution here in Canada and wires or pre-authorized credits have the senders information (ie name of sender) attached to the transfer.

My guess is they were looking for the source of funds at the recipient bank. iE why are you getting these funds. Or they had a bigger issue with their bank account.

we are looking at all our options. But him coming back to Canada for a visit probably won’t work. 14 day quarantine here and then 14 days back in Thailand. Means he’s is out of work for a month minimum. Not sure if that is possible.

Fact of the matter is I am totally fine with quarantine if I can get into Thailand.

Guess I’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

no they passed the bill but it has to be voted on in parliament. Which has not happened yet.

unfortunately Thailand does not recognize same sex marriage. the bill just passed earlier this month, but has to be voted on in parliament. and that hasn't happened yet.

im ok with isolating for 14 days. I just haven’t seen my husband since January. A trip in April was cancelled due to the start of covid. We were hopeful for July. But postponed to sept and now I’m not sure if that will happen either.
