Hello Thai Visa gurus and thanks in advance for your replies.

I use the monthly 65,000 baht method for my annual extensions of stay.

The money is transferred directly from my pension provider to my Thai bank account, usually on the 4th or 5th of each month.

This month it arrived early (today 30th). As a result, I am likely to have 2 payments made in January (5th and 30th) and potentially none in February.

Do you think Hua Hin immigration will accept the 12 transfers over the 12 month period, or will one being a few days early mean I have a problem?

I realise I can ask at immigration, but thought someone might have knowledge/experience of this situation.

Thanks again.

When applying for a marriage visa do my pensions have to be deposited directly into a Thai bank account or can I just transfer the money from my British bank account into my Thai bank account? Many thanks.

Good day everyone

If I transfer my pension from South Africa every month into my Thailand bank account will that be accepted when I renew my retirement visa for the next ?

Will the Thailand bank give me a statement for the year?

Can I not make use of the banking app and print 1 year monthly payments into the account?

And If I have a letter from my pension fund stating that I will receive x amount of income for life....can that be accepted?

Thank you.

Of passing interest perhaps. The Thai widow of an old mate has been recieving a widows pension for some years. No problems. First of this month, it fails to appear. Long story short, seems a new Thai law kicked in on Aug 1 requiring that money being transferred into Thailand identifies the sender. She now has to say, who is sending the money. Would have been easier if the Thai authorities had let anyone know.
