Your best option will be to bring as MUCH as possible with you’

Everything you bring is subject to a possible customs charge and this is massively increased if you ship it..

I’d research shops like

Lazada and Shoppe for online purchasing replacement items … and the cost of getting new equipment CS shipping / selling your current.

- YES but keeping it under 20k stops a lot of flags of transfer…

There is a ‘limit’ of 20k on transfers from such as Revolut etc…

Depending on the total value you can make transfers of 19,999 without flags..

Ideally transferring to yourself (same name) raises less questions but opening an account in Thailand is NOT easy.

- yes HOWEVER I am current in Thailand … so would need to exit apply and re entered without guarantee ..
