you're unlikely to get the 2nd dose of AZ in June as a foreigner. I'm not sure what impact that has, i.e. do you start from dose 1 again, could you use a different vaccine etc?

from what I can gather there appears to be quite a lot of companies, including my employer, trying to source vaccines but it's easier said than done for various reasons. I'm hoping the latest timeline Richard Barrow posted this morning is accurate with Pfizer/Moderna (not sure which) plus the Sputnik one being available from July/August time. I'm happy to pay for the vaccine but if I'm paying then I want a choice.

Not sure Thailand will hit the UK red zone. At least I hope it doesn't as that would mean the shit has well and truly hit the fan over here!!

I'm giving serious thought to doing the same, only issue is the ASQ upon return with 2 young kids...

Apply for jobs, interview for jobs, get an offer from one, accept job, employer will then tell you what you need to do. If you time it well then you may get an offer just as Thailand decides to lift the ban on people arriving from India.

so you mean he's expected to actually attend? Nah, that's no good for him 🤣

@Ann ****
that might be why they've kept you for longer but I'm not entirely sure. I don't know anyone who tested positive under the shorter ASQ, only the longer one.

@Ann ****
assume ASQ is 16 days you test positive on day 3, the remaining 13 days will be spent in hospital.
