Can anyone confirm the conditions entering Thailand as from July. I am of the understanding that arrivals from France do not require any additional paperwork accept a negative PCR test within 72 hours of leaving.
And arrival is to Phuket airport only....
Are the conditions the same as a special tourist visa as in you are able to to renew multiple times to be able to stay on a longer term.
Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conditions for entering Thailand from France as of July remain uncertain and officially unconfirmed. Current requirements suggest that travelers will need a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure, and arrivals are to be directed to Phuket airport. There are uncertainties related to insurance, Certificate of Entry (COE), and potential quarantine measures, with hints that fully vaccinated individuals may avoid quarantine. There's also confusion about the ability to renew visas multiple times under the Phuket sandbox proposal, as this has not been clearly established.
Its not likely to happen they have said will only happen when they reach herd immunity (70 %) of all people on Phuket. No where near that yet. Also only starts working two weeks after people have had second shot. That means completing everything by June 16th.
If they do sign it off you will still need the 100k insurance and COE and accommodation booked but not quarantine but have to stay in Phuket min 7 days. Wait for the updates and make sure you are vaccinated.
