that’s what I thought too when I went there the first time. But they told me that the bank book will not print the balance with the date of that day if there was no deposit or withdrawal on that day. But other banks may have a different practice.

you will also need to either withdraw or deposit a small amount so that the balance shown is truly of that day itself

It is also nice to read posts properly. What I wanted to say is that basic information be best looked up at the source, in this case the Embassy in the country from where one wants to apply for a TP, because that will give one the best imformation. Facebook groups can offer additional help. To be nice I assume it is not your lack of reading abilities but my insufficient English.
