Thank you, is it the same process as the initial Non-O, such as needing a bank letter, 800k etc (I've kept my account above that since my first 3-month Non-O, which then became a 1-year), etc.?
I guess I forgot that I shouldn't use the words volunteer and visa together, I was asking about the people who volunteer their time to offer advice on visas etc. as I would like to talk to them about my Non-O visa situation.
Yeah, I have had that issue in other countries like France, UK, etc so I was hoping it wasn't an issue. Thank you for all your information, very helpful and appreciated.
Okay thanks, for me the overseas part is not a problem as all funding from overseas, I already have a BBL account but the address is in Bangkok from my previous residence, though the application will be for staying in Phuket, I guess change the address but will that impact anything in your opinion?
I'm still a little in confusion about the 800k in the bank for the retirement visa - so it is 2 full months prior to applying, does that mean it is 2 full months end-of-month statements so if I'm set at 800k on July 2nd, would it mean July and August would count or is it only August and September? Thanks!
Hi Stuart, so if I want to get into Thailand on a visa exempt, I will need 800k in the bank account for 2 months prior to applying for the retirement visa, and I guess the 65k transfers need to be 12 months so the only way to keep only 400k (except as you say a draw-down and replenishment during the first 12 months) would be to have 12 months of transfer above 65k baht, so if I start now (and assuming the amounts don't need to be the same, just over 65k and just at least 1 every month) it wouldn't be until year 2 that I'd be able to keep the 400k since I only started transferring that 65k+ in June 2021 and will do transfer 2 in July 2021.
