Has anyone been issued a non imm b from LA or Houston recently? I’m trying to call them directly but no luck yet. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around the difficulties of obtaining a Non-Immigrant B Visa from the Thai consulates in Los Angeles and Houston. Users report that the Houston consulate is honorary and may not issue the visa, directing applicants instead to the Washington D.C. consulate. It's advised to apply online, as there are now only four consulates in the US currently issuing these visas.

You apply online at this web link and THEN depending on where you are they direct you to one of the 4 consulates that are issuing visas in the US now
Houston does not have a real Thai Consulate same as LA. Houston only has an Honorary Royal Thai Consul. I doubt that office is even authorized to issue a B Visa
- 3 to 4 years ago. A shame they did not update their site... I wish Thailand had not down graded Honorary Consuls. They are contractors to the Thai Embassy system barely able to do anything now.
agreed. I remember getting it there 2007 to 2012 when they started only single entry

los angeles is NOT one of those b/s honorary consulates like denver, houston, Dallas, Seattle, portland, and they are one of the 4 consulates issuing visas now.(Washington DC, New York, Chicago & Los Angeles
It's ALL done online thru the website now and depending on where you live that's where you send your documents
