TLDR : Answer Summary
There are reports of abnormal high tides and some flooding in Phuket, particularly near a bridge to the north. Recent weather warnings indicate strong winds and high waves in the Andaman Sea, with waves reaching up to 3 meters during thundershowers. Residents are advised to exercise caution. A tsunami alert has also been mentioned, following earthquakes in the Nicobar Islands, but proper safety measures seem lacking. Additionally, there are discussions around the impacts of climate change on these weather phenomena.
