Is my Non-Imm B visa still valid if I went on amnesty and didn't leave Thailand by the deadline?

So my Non-Imm B is valid until March 2021, but I went on amnesty on June 10th without an extension (I normally leave every 90-days), so I have to leave by September 26th. But I'm being told the visa is no longer valid because I didn't leave by June 10th. Is this true?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Non-Imm B visa remains valid until its printed expiry date, which is March 2021 in this case. However, the person's status was affected by the amnesty and their last entry stamp, which was valid until June 10, 2020. According to the comments, if the individual did not leave Thailand by that date, they may face issues returning even if the visa appears valid. The advice provided suggests that options are limited for those who relied on 90-day visa runs but now cannot travel due to the pandemic conditions. They may only have a few pathways to remain, such as applying for extensions based on employment or obtaining medical certifications.

For all in the same situation:

The Non Immigrant B visa is to enter the country and if you work inside Thailand, you apply for the Extension on Stay based on employment, If you need to travel during this extension, you use the re-entry permit,

This is the way it is set up and it did not change during this pandemic period

I understand that leaving and coming back into Thailand can not be done the same day, but i could not find a rule or regulation that that is a must for every business visa holder,

The choice between a visa and an Extension of Stay is made by yourself and your company partners,

Good luck,

Seems possible with a valid workpermit to travel back in as part of the 11 groups. Just have to pay costly quarantine ...

you have to FIRST get on the waiting list, apply for a certificate of entry, meet the 100K US dollar covid insurance requrement, book a quarantine in one of the approve ASQ facilities, get a fit to fly, a negative covid test AND a certificate of entry from the ministry of foreign affairs.

SO what you're NOT gonna do is exit, and then come right back. I would wager that you'll be out of the country a LEAST a couple months before you could get back

Unfortunately there are limited options to people on year-long, multi-entry Non-B visas who used to bounce out and in every 90 days but due to the covid-crisis can't do that.

As the amnesty explains you have 3 choices, meet the requirements, apply for a yearly extension based on employment (which I realize is not an option for many people), get a letter from your consulate stating you can't travel after the 26th of Sept and apply for a 30 day extension or get a letter from a doc/hospital stating you can't travel after the 26th of Sept and apply for a medical extension OR prepare to leave the country.

At this time those ARE your options..

In the same situation here! So are they saying that all Non B holders(who usually do 90 day bounces) who have valid visas but need to leave due to their stamp expiring have no option at all to extend in Thailand? I know can possibly obtain Extension of Stay but think that is only if have 4 staff on business payroll. Any other options?

if they can not get an extension of stay, they must leave by September 26

I cant find a path - I guess they will lose my tax money and I will lose on closing my business and that must be multiplied by a few people like us, but they don’t care, we should have left country even though borders were closed

Unfortunately
@Chris******
, the borders were closed to ENTRY, not to exiting the country and anyone could have gotten out since the country locked down IF they wanted to.

@Tod ********
while that is very true people were then unable to get back in to run their companies because the borders were closed to entry - this has been a huge dilemma and worry for many Non IMM B holders who are required to leave every 90 days .

The question is probably better phrased: "When I try to come back to Thailand (after leaving end of amnesty) before the printed expiry date March 2021, will the Non-Imm B be valid or will they say it was cancelled on June 10th"?
Robert *******
The visa stays valid until the valid until date mentioned on the visa and as long as you enter before that date you get 90 days of stay,

Yes, I read that - and it makes senses to me. Thanks.

@Christopher *****
the problem will be getting back from wherever you decide to go. Is there any option to get it done here. My friend is in the same boat

just can’t find a path to do that, to be fair I’m not sure they care. Visa Amnesty should have covered this imo

There are two different things,

a Visa that allows you for a certain period of time inside Thailand and this period of time,

The visa stays valid until the valid until date mentioned on the visa and as long as you enter before that date you get 90 days of stay,

Your last entry, guess in March gave you a new stamp Admitted until 10 Jun 2020 and that is expired and the reason why you use the amnesty,
