As long as you haven't done that 60 day ext. before on that visa. You're only allowed one at least for americans. I needed to extend a 2nd time to allow my $ to "season" and found it wasn't possible. Had to go to Vientiane for new visa. :(

I bring the re-entry permit form already filled out and a photo and I save 200B. Either way is fine, but the less $ I give them, the better I like it.

Thanks. I experienced the extra fee a couple years back at a very early hour even with paperwork done. Been plenty of time since then for them to change the operating hours to mess us up. ;)
