Will I need to provide another bank book update for my Type O extension stamp at Chaengwattana Immigration?

On my way to CW for Type O extension stamp USA passport. TM7 et al has already been submitted 20+ days ago. To expedite things before they close for lunch, will they ask for another bank book update and copy today? Can’t remember from last time.

Trying to decide whether to get into queue in immigration or go to bank first.

TIA.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the requirement for a bank book update for their Type O extension stamp at the Chaengwattana Immigration Office in Thailand, citing their previous experience. After hearing from others and eventually confirming at the immigration office, it appears that no updated bank book is needed for the extension process, which can often change.

So the moving target for ext of stay thai wife this year was the additional printout of my bank statement as IO said updated book with bank letter had no details. I only update the thing once a year🤣

Today’s EOS stamp was quick and no bank statement was needed….this time. 😉

yep they stopped asking for an updated bank book when you go to get the yearly extension inked in at Chaengwattana in L-2 a good while back.

Just curious, did you only get a 3 week under consideration stamp? Most people weren't getting a month one just a short 2 or 3 week one.

yes I was under consideration for only 21 days this time which was different from last year.

I think they asked for the bank nonsense at L2 last year but wasn’t sure, hence my OP. Was actually trying to get to places afterwards so getting it done before lunch was the aim point today.

Success! 😀👍
