You may be told to leave at the end of the amnesty regardless of where you are a resident. :( They would expect you to return to where you are a citizen :(

As far as I know, there are no countries that have made it impossible for their citizens to return.

This is why I have continued with normal extensions, even though I could have been covered under Amnesty. Don't want to be told to leave the country, if that happens. Have been, and will be, continuing my extensions. What if they need a huge insurance package, or 14 days paid state quarantine, limit who can return to Thailand by nationality, have to cross a border and then have no flights to anywhere, be stranded in that country......so many scenarios that could happen....I will be staying the course thankyou very much ;)

Not overstayed. He commented that he has a 60 day family visit visa.

I arrived and then went on a holiday and then ate some noodles and they were great and then after the noodles I needed a visa, so when will the airport open ;)

19 days of overstay. Pay 9500 baht and get a 30 day extension (if they give it) until 6th of April. In the mean time apply for a letter from the US embassy for a 30 day COVID extension.....OR fly home to the USA....
