2 hour is plenty of time.if you fly the same airline you can even ask to label your bagage to surathani .on arrival just follow the signs for domestic connecting flights ,it might not show surrathani ,but it is your gateway to your next flight .it is about 200 meter after the normal pasport control,still before pasport control .safe journey

When you register ,just choose "other" for reason of travel ,and specify in the next collum ,"retired".

Do you need to show to the immigration officer a qr code ,or once they scan your pasport it will pop up in their system.

Yesterday ,pasportcontrol 10 minutes ,waiting for bagage 10 minutes ...a breeze ...(midday 11.20,only 1 other int. arrival)

Reentry you can arrange when you depart

Tm 7 and tm 8 only from samui immigration .nr 11 and 13 can be done at service office next door .photo's also inside house ,as a precaution .can also be printed at service office

Walk to the airport rail link after the "entrance" keep on the left ,not to the airport rail link itself ,i believe there is a left luggage there
