Ivor Paul how and from where did you travel? Did you have to stay overnight? Did you need to show any money and what is the charge at the border? Sorry for all the questions i don't know if you remember we talked a couple of weeks ago. I need to go end of this month. if you go to Padang besar you will have to show baht. I had that problem 2 months ago. The whole trip there and back was about 1500baht including meals and tickets. I went from hua hin by train.

i have a multiple entry non o visa based on marriage received in Savannakhet like i said never a problem before and it sounds like all Myanmar borders not just at Kanchanaburi.

i used that border post for about 4 years and then SA passports were just stopped early this year. Never a problem before. Was just wandering if somebody caused a problem

Had a problem with the immigration at Padang Besar last month with a 12 month non o multiple entry married to a Thai that i received in Savannakhet. Also asked for baht proof.

I get the 12 month multiple entry non o for marraige then after the first 90 days i get a 60 day extension then a few more 90 day runs and when you reach the last 90 day run you can apply for another 60 day extension which gives me 17 months. i don't know if it makes any sense what i'm saying . I've done it twice in a row now reaching my last 90 day next week then applying for my last 60 day extesion.
