hiya, mind If I ask more info abot the medical appointment please? Was it for a one time thing or a schedule of ongoing things and was it something major or small. I've been wondering about the medical route and what small things they could possibly accept but would then run into the issue of when having to renew needing something new or ongoing each time
Dunno about bangkok but in pattaya there is 1 booth that does take notes that most other places will refuse but they charge a premium for it, last time I was able to change a lot of 20 uk pound notes for eg
so a hypothetical, say I have a car back in sunny old england and I wanna sell it for £20k to my mate. He sends me the cash,I then wanna send that to myself in Thailand, is it taxable?
source for this? My impression was any cash you send to yourself (not thai person) is subject to the new tax unless it's already been taxed in your home country.
Whatever you do, DO NOT accept PayPal and allow the customer to collect in person. One of the easiest scams going, they simply claim the item was never delivered and when you can't prove postage you lose the claim
Success! Although they made us sweat for it, came back next day a few us got told 'not finished yet, go sit we call you later' then thankfully they did exactly that and handed our passports back with shiny new stamps. 37 days of overstay was what worried me the most but they didn't even blink an eye 18,500 baht :/
