i haven't ignored anything. The purpose of my post is to share information with the group on the most economic ways to obtain thai baht and avoid ATM fees. There's been many interesting and helpful responses. I have more information and others have thanked me for the post as they too have learned something.

you'd pay $90 to hear what's tomorrow's weather going to be? How many lots of $90 do you frivolously spend each day or each week? I can give you my PayPal and you're welcome to throw away a few 90s in my direction. Lol. Mr Money. Nice. You think thrifty people are broke or mentally impaired?

Greg I'm sorry you have problems to understand simple things. I'll try one last time. 3000 is chicken shit if im buying a big ticket item ..electrical goods car or a condo. You don't understand it's a huge amount to pay for information that's freely available. Would a,diagram help you?

yes you're right. All banks and retailers offer that same tricky choice. Always hit NO!

I'm not guessing ok. I've done it 100 times. Credit or debit card. Cash advance same exchange rate as ATM from visa or mastercard. You don't understand Cash advance. It isn't a currency conversion. That's done by visa or mastercard. My uk debit card has FREE foreign currency transactions so again you're wrong. My old barclays credit card was free for foreign currency transactions many years recently started charging. I want to use my debit card for foreign transactions without ATM discrimination. So either cash advance or XE app cash collection. Beats the ATM scam every time.

you are INCORRECT. Cards are either visa or mastercard. Visa and mastercard use interbank exchange rates for foreign currency transactions. Some foreign banks add foreign transactions fees on top of conversion and some do not. I am speaking from years of experience obtaining cash advance foreign currency transactions so I know what I'm talking about. It's all done on visa or mastercard network. Thai bank only sets rates where foreigner asks for currency conversion. Also you ignore the 220 baht ATM fee is discriminatory against foreign customers.

I recommend Cash Pickup on XE app. Siam Commercial Bank collection only 100 baht.

your opinion only. I wouldn't throw away 3k for information available on Google and believe me I have plenty. I just saw a,video on fb....founder and owner of Ikea was worth 58 billion dollars. Died age 91. Used to take salt n pepper packs from restos and always got his hair cut in developing countries. Never ever flew business class and drove a 15 yr old Volvo. On your reckoning he couldn't afford to live in Thailand. That's because you think it's virtuous to pay money in return for fresh air. Other more careful people also have an opinion ok. We the careful wealthy people disagree with your bullshit condescending attitude towards thrift.
