@Sa *****
I’m from NL too, came in November, got the 30 day extension and then when I went back to immigration I got a 60 day covid extension when I told them my country is in lockdown. They wanted to see proof so I showed them this webpage:

/18/slowing-the-spread-of-the-omicron-variant-lockdown-in-the-netherlands and they gave me the visa on the spot. They also provided all the forms I had to fill in. (This was at Phang Nga immigration)

@Michael *****
I had to prove my country was in lockdown to get the covid extension, I printed out a (English version) Dutch government webpage stating the Netherlands is in lockdown (nowhere did it say they closed the borders, I could go home if I wanted to), that was enough to get the extension (Phang Nga immigration)

Not Phangan, but Phang Nga ☺️ went to get a second 30 day, was denied, but when I said my country is in lockdown (and provided the requested proof by showing them a Dutch government website in English announcing the lockdown), they reluctantly gave me the 60 day Covid extension. Only downside is that it takes effect immediately, so I lost 10 days (my 30 day extension runs out
