Same situation, was asked at boarding why I didn’t have a return flight within the duration of my permited stay, but was allowed to board anyway.

Each immigration office are different, but in Chiang Mai, signed photocopies are ok

Do landlords in Thailand require a copy of your arrival visa stamp for registration purposes?

Landlords who don't ask for your passport, border stamps and TM6 will not lodge a TM30 (either online or on paper), are not compliant with the law, and probably don't pay taxes on the rent 😀

Can I get a 30-day extension on my Tourist Visa in Thailand after a close call with immigration?

Jon Egak If your landlord don’t want to report you by filing a TM30, you can ask him/her to give you the necessary documents and file it yourself at immigration, it’s very quick and easy. After that, you can ask for the extension 45 days before your last day (corrected for clarification, thanks Robert)
