[TM30 Self Registration in Chiang Mai]
Hi All, I plan to stay in a condo near Chiang Mai Airport, and will need to be properly registered at immigration (to get an extension of stay later). The property manager don't want to go to immigration himself, but told me he will give me documents to self register if I want to. This raise a few question for people who may have done this before:
1) Is it easy to fill a TM30 and self register at immigration as a condo guest, even if you don't speak Thai?
2) What are the needed documents to self register? I have read than the owner need to bring the blue book when he go to immigration, but I doubt they will give it to me.
3) Will I have something additional to pay, like tax stamps, when I go to immigration to self register?
4) If I arrive on Saturday, is it ok to go at immigration the next Monday afternoon? Is it not too packed on Monday?
Thanks for your help.
