that’s as may be but it’s still 200 THB for every paper copy of a certificate of residence with your name and address on it. I know cos I asked for an extra one and the immi officer asked for 400 THB.

“Did not cost anything.” By law, yes, but in reality, it’s 200 THB per copy. That’s at Chaeng Wattana anyway. Other IOs may not charge though.

You don’t need immigration. You can also get the certificate of residency from your embassy. It’s more pricey but possible, plus it’s much faster. Takes a couple of weeks from immigration.

I bought a SIM from AIS recently and have the same problem. It’s gathering dust on my sideboard. 555

thanks. Yeah new system, but still as crappy as the previous one. I didn’t even know the application I made yesterday was “pending” till I changed browser this morning and made a new one. What a proper shit show! Been here 24 years and immigration just gets worse every year.

Did mine yesterday, got a confirmation email to say it had been received but still waiting for approval and my next date to report. Why does it take so long?

Anyone know how long it takes to receive confirmation of a successful online 90-day report? I did it this morning at 10 a.m. but while I got a green box with “success” on the website and a follow up email saying my application had been received, I haven’t’ gotten back any official confirmation or approval nor the usual downloadable paper with the next 90-day date for reporting. TIA.

thanks. I always drive there when I can’t do it online or via the postal service.
