Dont think they dont check everything. Last year we had the photo taken outside by the post box with the house number on it. During the year our numbers fell off so my wife bought new numbers to stick on. This year getting my visa, was a problem. The immigration guy said its not the same house because of the difference in last years photo and this years. Crazy I know but he wanted to come round and check it.

It is for sure very stressfull to amass all the papers required to get the marriage visa and so much easier to get a retirement visa. I have applied for it 7 years now. The funniest one was update your bank passbook. I had no transactions from my bank at the time so saw no need to update as there's nothing to print out. The I O told me I must update for that day how nonsensical is that. So I had to go to the bank, pay in 500 baht and update the book.

mate , a marriage visa is a bitch of a thing to get, sooo many hoops to jump through. If you can put 800,000 in your bank account or have at least 65,00 baht a month paid into your bank account, get the retirement visa soo much easier.
