You only need 400k if your married to a Thai or 40k a month coming in from another country. If your not married, you need 800k or 64k a month.

Dont think they dont check everything. Last year we had the photo taken outside by the post box with the house number on it. mate , a marriage visa is a bitch of a thing to get, sooo many hoops to jump through. If you can put 800,000 in your bank account or have at least 65,00 baht a month paid into your bank account, get the retirement visa soo much easier.
