I see. However, there is the additional option of the new "E-Extension" service, right? It's more or less the same thing as making an appointment, except you submit all docs / pay 1,900 baht fee + 500 baht processing fee, but then you still have to go to the office (2nd floor?) to pick it up, right?
, thanks man! I ended up doing the BTS all the way to Wat Pra Sri Mahatat again (itβs free after / before Mo Chit) but then did GrabBike both ways to MTT. Was 10x faster as they can weave through traffic. Bit cheaper too ππΌ
, ironically, they literally just called me and asked me to return, as they made a mistake, as I predicted π€¦π»ββοΈ Will report back again after.
The first stamp is an "Under Consideration" stamp. The immigration officer explained that my information must be sent to the "District 3" main office in Bangkok to be approved, and then it will be returned to Samut Prakan (The officer stressed that ALL covid embassy extensions WILL be approved, it just has to pass by the main district office in Bangkok first). My information will be returned back to the Samut Prakan office before 29 September, in which I will go back and get my 2nd stamp.
