Some people when to immigration with letters and never got an extension. They are not giving extension atm.

How can you extend amnesty? Did anyone successfully when to their embassy, got the letter, and got an extension yet? All the stories I heard is that it is not working atm.

Canada is a freaking joke, last time it took forever for them to give me a letter around March 26. Please keep us updated about Canada embassy/consulate.

Yes, you are fear-mongering. Your friend didn't have a valid visa. Nobody is saying that ALL agency will give you a real visa, but the one you linked above (American and Thai Wife arrested, etc), is total BS. They are still operating and delivering thousands of visas every month (for 10+ years). Everyone knows about them, they are in Bangkok and their office is well known. Is it legal? No! Legit? Yes! Everyone is getting their cut. Please remember that this is Thailand, legality and legitimicy is different.

I'm heading out with Thai GF before September 26 and not coming back until they come up with an affordable solution. I think most people are thinking like me, but I could be wrong. I would be willing to pay for 6 months - 1-year visa from within Thailand, even if it was 30k baht. But no way am I leaving and coming back the next day to be put in 14 days quarantine with insane cost and all the BS that comes with it.

The elite visa lasts very long, this is 9 months. The rich ones are already on elite visa, they don't need this.

The one you are talking about in BKK are not for tourist, they are for those who are already allowed to come back. The October idea for tourist is only for Phuket atm.

Most people cannot afford 100-200k baht quarantine.
