- The poster was asking why his country was not listed, so that is why I said they may still have in person services (or maybe no consulate in his country). He then asked a different question about applying via evisa in UK from afar and I was highlighting he needed to be in the UK to use their evisa portal.

You have to be physically in the country for which you are applying through. If your country is not listed, maybe they still do it in person.

- How is that the case? People receive their results in the afternoon and submit their applications in the morning. If you were submitting an application, you wouldn’t have seen someone being informed they are rejected.

Anonymous participant - not true. You don’t have to be in your home country, just in a country where you meet the requirements of that Thai consulate.

They do say, give a month or more. Right now with the influx with people applying for DTV, it is expected to be longer. You still have a few weeks, so cross fingers

yes, but just saying it is reviewed by the embassy staff in Madrid, so they are more likely to know Spanish and/or Catalan versus if you applied online via the embassy in Hong Kong
