I have heard this from even professional Visa agencies yet I used mine so far to go to Malaysia and back to Thailand with no problem and also had it extended for an extra 30 days with no problems at all. I think there is a lot of miss information about these "emergency passports" that needs to be declared up. I just wish someone had the clear answers between the embassies ect. Hopefully someone here has first hand knowledge but I know it is a rare situation to have to get the Emergency Passport. For me my passport eventually ran out of pages to get stamped on s had to get the temp "Emergency Passport"

The emergency passport I had to get because I had so many stamps I ran out of pages and they told me to get a real one would take 4-6 weeks when I was on a 30 day visa. I have been to Malaysia and back on the emergency visa but never tried getting a Thai Visa extension with it. Some have said it's not possible others say it is.

I had the same issue I ran out of pages to stamp but I instead got an emergency passport because they said it would take 4-6 weeks to get the real one but I only had a 30 day visa. Curious how long did it take you to get yours? Did you use the service where you mail it in? Also they transferred my stamp at the airport when I showed them both my passports

Does anyone know if you can get a 30 day extension on an emergency passport once the 30 day stamp is up? I'm getting conflicting information online. Seems like you should be able to just like a regular passport but some are saying there are limitations
