if you get delayed go the embassy the next day.. the alternative is go the day before anyway... its worked for me twice ... ..I don't know why I bother sharing ...
Accept a taxi from one of the touts before Laos immigration .. they will get you through quicker
Book a hotel on the Riverside so that your Thai Sim will still work
If you rent a scooter ( a good idea to kill time and the taxis back and forth to consulate ) - police will fine you if you have your lights on in day time
I found some out of town girly bars , if that’s your thing
I found a great expats Irish Bar on the dark side O’Gradys I think it was
Nice Cafe 200 meters up from consulate - cafe sinouk
@home nightclub is good for hook up after midnight
No - at the consulate they didn’t ask for anything .. I have copies of passport pages and entry stamps and a copy of my rental contract , that the girl prechecking my docs , have me straight back.
At immigration coming back into Thailand .. I clearly wrote on my tm entry form that I live Pattaya , Chon Buri .. the lady asked me “ you live Chaing Mai , right ??”
Was that a trick question to try catch me out !!!!
