TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation addresses why the Thai embassy provided a different type of photo for a 60-day tourist visa (TR), with comments suggesting a possible shortage of visa stickers leading to the use of stamps instead. Additionally, there's an inquiry about whether a bank statement was requested, indicating that financial documentation might be relevant to visa processing.
Friend Dickinson looks like there were only 10 people ahead of you on that ticket. That's just the number of 90 day reports they've taken so far that day.
No - at the consulate they didn’t ask for anything .. I have copies of passport pages and entry stamps and a copy of my rental contract , that the girl prechecking my docs , have me straight back.
At immigration coming back into Thailand .. I clearly wrote on my tm entry form that I live Pattaya , Chon Buri .. the lady asked me “ you live Chaing Mai , right ??”
Was that a trick question to try catch me out !!!!
