currently yes as long as the classes are minimum 6 months in duration and from a legitimate school.

and Asia Morgan, maybe check into the amount of time the funds have to be in the account. One YouTuber I saw who got the DTV said the embassy she applied at said the money has to be in the account for one month before applying. Another said three months. Another said six months.

Also one gentleman said when it was time to do the 180 day extension of his DTV, he was told the 500,000 had to be in his account when he applied for the extension.

From reading the posts in the group daily, I am learning that everything is not cut and dried when it comes to applying for any kind of Thai visa. Each consulate/embassy has its own rules regarding what documentation they will accept and immigration officers have the final say once arriving in Thailand.

However I haven't yet heard of anyone being denied entry when entering Thailand on their first 180 days of their DTV.

Please check with the Thai embassy or consulate in your region for their requirements.

From what I've read, the soft power activity should last at least 6 months for best hope of being accepted as legitimate.
