you are reading the stamp wrong.

It was a re entry on July 16th.

The original visa was activated May 20th( its a little unclear)it looks like on the reentry permit.

They have not shown the original entry stamp.

the decision is basically already made, you are just waiting for "head office" to finish the process.

This happens all the time and usually within a day or two it's sorted.

You are technically in "limbo" on your extension.

It's no concern.

No problem if you are under consideration.

Just return when it's approved and get stamped.

No overstay if it's not ready, if there was a problem you would already know.

As it will be a multientry with no extension in country, there will be no need for money in Thailand.

for the initial 90 fay non-o the funds must originate from outside Thailand.

For the extensions it is only required that the money be here.

This is how most offices interpret and enforce the rules.

the mistake you are making is looking at long stay.

What you want is a 90 day non-o visa based on being over 50.

As the initial visa is only 90 days it is not considered "long stay".

You will not require health insurance or criminal check etc.

Once you enter Thailand then you will be able to extend for 1 year increments.

You will need to deposit 800k into Thai bank account in your name only.

Your income doesn't qualify without embassy endorsement( For the first year anyway.)
